Technology Integration

Icon Interactive™ implements a wide array of technology based on your company’s needs – rather than what we believe is the easiest solution for us to provide. We have experience and expertise creating web sites for Unix and NT, using a wide array web-based programming languages and technologies.

Some of the technologies we commonly employ include:

  • PHP
Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) is an open source, server-side, HTML embedded scripting language used to create dynamic Web pages. We create dynamic content using object-oriented PHP.

  • ASP
This is the standard programming system for Internet applications hosted on Windows servers.

  • .NET
ASP.NET is the second generation of Active Server Page (ASP. It supports code written in compiled languages like C++, Visual Basic, and Perl, and, features server controls that can separate the code from the content, allowing WYSIWYG editing of pages.

  • Java
A programming language that is designed to be platform-independent. This is achieved by the use of "virtual machines" that allow Java programs to run on a particular operating system.

  • Flash
Flash is a software program used to design and deliver high-impact, low-bandwidth Web Sites. We can create graphics and build advanced Web applications using scripting, forms, and server-side connectivity.

  • Javascript
Popular browser-side scripting language used to make static HTML documents more interactive.

  • ColdFusion
Aprogramming language based on standard HTML that is used to write dynamic webpages. ColdFusion enables you to incorporate live data into dynamically created web pages

  • MySQL
MySQL is a relational database management system. It is know for its unmatched speed, compactness, stability, and ease of deployment.

  • MSSQL
Microsoft's BackOffice component that provides a standard database management system (DBMS) for the Windows NT Server and Windows 2000 Server environments.

  • Oracle
Oracle is a commercial relational database management system developed by Oracle Corporation. Components of the RDBMS include the kernel and various utilities for use by database administrators and database users. Oracle uses SQL (Structured Query Language) and proprietary PLSQL.

We have experience integrating complex third-party applications and databases with Internet technology to provide a seamless web experience to your site visitors.
